Birds by Crate and Barrel

I found this cute pot at Crate and Barrel, unfortunately it is green and my backyard color is red.

I purchased this patterned from Silhouette:

and a flower pot from Michaels

I spray painted the pot white.....

Then added red paint to the bottom....

Then used the Silhouette machine and red vinyl to cut out the birds....

Added a coat of Mod Podge...

.......Added two Basil Plants

..........and that is my new potted plant.

  

BTW...I am so excited....this is my first Silhouette project.  

I think it turned out great.
