Day 1 of Spring Cleaning with Ask Anna is complete. I washed all the curtains in my house: four bedrooms, one bathroom, the family room, the kitchen, the laundry room, and vacuumed the living room shades. I have to admit I am cheating a bit....I will wash the kitchen and family room blinds another day. I am not feeling 100%.....in fact....it has been a whole week on not feeling well. I am working through it one day at a time. :)
I know this picture is blah blah blah......but the curtains are clean :)( I need a new lamp...I hate shopping for lamps any suggestions????)

You could always paint the lamp. Maybe like a Tiffany Blue & add some felt or cloth rosettes to the lamp shade. It will cost you about $5 I bet vs. buying something new & spending $10+ dollars =)
