Book Review--21 Days to a More Disciplined Life

“Eat a live frog every morning,
and nothing worse will happen to you the rest of the day.”
Mark Twain

i read 21 days to a more disciplined life the last couple of days, by crystal paine.  it was one of those books you can get in those e-packages.  i seemed to me addicted to them each week.  i had to promise myself no more packages until i finish some of the books i have.

this book was perfect for me right now.  i am just starting to focus on my life goal of living a simple, clean and organized life.  crystal’s book works right into that goal.  she writes about how we make our own choices each day and we are responsible for our own lives.  so little by little we need to make the changes.

each day she encourages you to work on a mega project and break it down into 21 little steps.

my mega project will be the basement storage area.  for the next 21 days i am determined to clean that area out, box by box.
my goal is to start with the biggest project first, reorganize the paint shelf.  then work through each box.

crystal also writes about habits and life hacks.  a life hack is a habit you are willing to change daily that will impact your life for the better.   for me, my life hack will be, i will always fold the laundry and put it away as soon as the load is done, no matter what.   that way it will not be laying in the wash area four days later.  the sight of the wash baskets stress me out.

i enjoyed this short book and i am happy that i purchased it and read it.  i think i will make some improvements for the better.   crystal has a website called money saving mom  i am going to spend some time reading that as well.  it looks interesting.

here is a list of 14 books crystal recommends to get organized.
