Advent Calendar

One benefit from my cancer this Fall was the four weeks I stayed home from work. I did a lot of sleeping each day however a couple of the days my mom and I worked on a Advent project for my little grand baby.

It took us a while to get started mainly because we could not find a glue to hold down the felt.  We ended up using the hot glue gun.  I did not like the glue gun because it is hard to control the amount of hot glue you are getting and move it around.  

I used the Advent Storybooks and made pieces to match the stories.  My mom sewed the background and the pockets and we hot glued the velcro circles for the pieces.  

I also purchased the Fisher Price Manger for her.
