I found pink and red cards in the dollar section at Target after Christmas and it took me a bit to think of a cute idea for a Valentine card. However I did find something that went along with my classroom theme. I purchased the cards for $2 and one bag of Tootsie Pops for about $2.35. The rest of the supplies I already had in my craft room. I used: black paper, circle puncher, black pipe cleaners, wiggly eyes and a black and pink sharpie.
It was super simple and fun to make. They kids enjoyed getting them. I prefer to give homemade gifts. To me they are more personal and made with LOVE!
