Gift 18 200 Bags of Trail Mix

I can not take all the credit for this gift.  This idea came from some of the 8th graders at the school where I teach.  The first graders were assigned to make 200 bags of trail mix.  Not all my students donated the jars of peanuts and raisins they were asked to bring in so I went to the store and picked up some extras. I also spent about an hour and a half of my prep time setting up, helping another first grade class fill bags, and cleaning.  It was a wonderful opportunity to talk to the children about how this project was just like what we were reading in our religion book.  Jesus wants up to reach out and help others and love our neighbors.
