My gift today came about because I didn't want to ask my classroom parents for too much. This week I asked each student to bring in a large jar of peanuts and large bag of raisins for our project tomorrow. I didn't want to ask for more food for the food bank. I thought I would handle that on my own. So I went to the grocery store and purchased 16 cans of corn, one for each child and one for the teacher to take to Mass.
