Front Porch Day 2

I found this bench at Michaels for $6 after the coupon.   

Today I used the power sander for the first time.  It was very messy.  I am stepping out of my normal role and doing things that I never have done before.

I spray painted the bench red......

I had to put three coats of paints on it.  

My husband told me after he came home that I should have put primer on it first.  Oh well, live and learn. 

I used my silhouette machine to make the word:  Welcome... to add to the front of the bench.  

I added two coats of Clear Acrylic Sealer.

I'm looking at Target for a new door mat..... I can not find the one I want.   Still looking.........
