My Herb Garden

I finished my herb garden this weekend.  This is my first year planting a herb garden.  I've been married 28 years and this is the first time I am taking a risk and cooking with more herbs.  Two years ago my brother in law got us hooked on fresh basil and now I am branching out to experimenting with other herbs.  

I planted: 2 basil plants,  mint, cilantro, oregano, rosemary, and parsley.  

To identify my plants,  I made these cute markers out of  these frames.   I found them in the dollar bins at Michaels. 

I taped the black off first.  Then I spray painted them red.  Put on a ladybug stickers and wrote on them with a paint marker I found a Michaels.  Then sprayed them with:

I waited for the frames to dry 24 hours and tah dahl  

I think they are so cute!  :)
