Friday Favorites -- Gifts for Teacher Friends

So this is what I am thinking, each year, last minute of course, I decide I want to put together something for my friends at the beginning of the school year.  I go running around looking for little things to fill a bin of some sort.  I decided to think ahead.  What could I do?   First of all there will be FIVE new teachers to our school so I need to do something special for them to welcome them.  Then I have my seven other teaching friends at my level and maybe the principal.  That equals 13 gifts to make.    So here are the ideas I found on Pinterest today.

Idea 1:  This is my favorite.  A little spray painting and taping and planting and I am done.  This is very cute and classy.  I think my teacher friends would love this the most.

Idea 2:  I think this would cost more money for the water cups.  The vinyl I have.  I am concerned the vinyl will peel off when washing.  However it is super cute and I know all my friends would drink water from their cups.

Idea 3:  This crayon vase idea is simple.  I would have to buy a  pack of crayons for each vase.  Hot glue is easy to do.  Then I would need plants.  This could get costly.

Idea 4:  This would be super easy, however I think the lotion is the most costly idea.  Also I don't think our male principal would like lotion.

Idea 5:  This nail polish idea is cute, however I know not all my friend paint their nails.

Idea 6:  This is cute and I have some ikea jars in the basement.  This would be simple to make with vinyl.

Idea 7:  I would do a smaller version of this.  It would be very easy to do.  The candy hugs would be the only cost.  I could use the jars in the basement.

I'll let you know next week which idea won out.
